Hello all,

Friday was good we were on divisions with Elder Coleman from Maryland so I got to be with him for the day and that was really cool we talked about east coast and Baltimore and Washington DC especially.

Saturday cleaned the church in the morning; picked up garbage and leaves and everything outside sweeped and raked and everything. Then the rest of the day taught lessons and had English class at night but then no one showed up again. I don’t know why and then we talked with one more person after we left the chapel because no one showed up. And walked home.

Sunday I gave my talk on the First Vision and personally I thought it was really good and I talked really well but no one ever said anything so either everyone is just duro and didn’t like my talk or my Spanish or something or maybe they aren’t supposed to tell missionaries that they gave a great talk. But one lady did tell me good job because she was the speaker right before me and she said it was interesting that the two people to talk today they made us both of us which have funny accents and no one can understand and are extranjeros and speak funny because she is from Colombia but I didn’t get to ask what part. But her talk was really great too and told her she also did a good job she talked about Christ appearance in America. She sounded exactly like moms voice too it was really weird the way she talked it sounded almost she was talking to me in English but we were having the conversation in Spanish.

Monday normal day taught like 5 lessons or so and it was just a good normal teaching day nothing really special happened other than we got a baptism date for this 11 year old girl we have been teaching and we set it for 7 of May.

Tuesday we had correlation in the morning that was good because we have a new mission leader. And then the afternoon we had zone meeting and that was good just talked about monthly planning and stuff. And then that afternoon had like 3 lessons.

Wednesday all morning we had meeting with president he described to us a dream he had and that was really cool and he clarified some stuff about planning and monthly planning and stuff about the mission. And he said I think we will skype the week after mother’s day because transfers are the day of mother’s day so we will probably talk the 15th of May. And then he described some other number things and nitty gritty small stuff about the mission and his view and hopes for the mission and what he wants in the future. Then we had interviews and that was perfectly fine haha the hermanas each took like 30 to 40 minutes and the elders were like 5 minutes each some even quicker and he talked about being your own agent and preparing us and stuff. Then the afternoon we had a great lesson and then another both with members then we went home at night and did monthly planning and weekly planning because it is Wednesday and daily planning to plan for tomorrow and yeah lots of planning.

It is starting to get a little colder around here but that is nothing. The weather is like rainy a lot and yeah everything is good here and I hope everyone is having fun and doing good back at PA. Have a good week y´all!

Love,

Elder Frampton

Buen dia,

Tuesday was good we studied then contacted around in the morning and then went back for lunch this week was good for lunches we had over the course of the week mac and cheese giant empanadas with meat and cheese, meatball subs, sloppy joes, milanesas and French, fries fideos or pasta with sauce and meat it was a good week. Then after whatever we had for lunch we had to make a game and a spiritual message for the zone meeting and we made up a little charades game it was really good. Went to the meeting played enjoyed had fun, left, taught that the recent convert little girl and her abuela. Then we had a lesson with a lady. Talked about the power of prayer and encouraged her to start praying again. The night was normal

Wednesday woke up went to church for service cleaned swept and did stuff there came home for lunch.  Studied then did planning for the week and then left went to a recent converts house and walk in and his wife’s brothers are over; one is 14 and the other is 5. The 14 one was on the laptop playing a game like seemed something like WoW or LoL but I wasn’t sure it was a magic game but was first person seemed cool though and the 5 year old was playing Grand Theft Auto 5 and he was playing that game better than I played it. He was like Elder watch this and would like jump from one building to another and shot down this helicopter and doing all this stuff. I ask am cuantos autos robaste hoy and he told me like 10 or 11 cars he has robbed in the game. Haha yeah kids are starting younger and younger to play video games made me think of all those little kids like Kendall that know how to work the Ipads better than their parents. Then we left and went to correlation at the church that was good and we stayed a little to talk with mission leader and we knew he had gone to BYU but we didn’t know how long or if he knew English. So we asked he said only one semester and that he had to take a test and all this stuff then started talking in English and he had really really good English I was a little surprised. And we asked if he knew a little English before BYU and the test and before he started learning English he said as a kid he learned to speak and read English by playing the Pokemon games! Wow

Thursday we studied left contacted like all morning long taught a lesson to this one guy I always talk about Horacio and he really loved it but he asked some questions about tithing which wasn’t related because we were teaching L3 the gospel of Jesus Christ but we answered them anyway. Then had lunch and got ready to go to Quequen for these refuerzos there. I was companions with Elder Armstrong and we had the area to contact around the church in Quequen we only found like 4 or 5 people but it was nice to help out the elders there.

Friday studied in the morning a little left went and talked with a guy about word of wisdom and law of chastity for like an hour and a half then went and stopped by a few other houses one being of an inactive guy who works as a yoga teacher, like super yoga with like focusing the inner energy and chi meditating all the time and lighting incense and that kind of hippie yoga instructor stuff ying and yang. Then lunch and studied then went and taught a less active and he gave us some advice to look into the field of getting a job as a flight attendant it is only 1 year of school and you get to travel the world I might just looking into it. I could work flights from US to any Spanish country and supposedly it pays well. Then we had contacting the rest of night

Saturday woke up studied and then taught a less active old lady she talked about E. Coli and sicknesses and stuff and a dog bite her and now she can’t move her one leg and when she was little this dog bit her like 4 times and now her leg is messed up she can’t walk it has some infection over the years. Then a recent convert and that was a normal read the Book of Mormon together. Lunch and then studies and then the afternoon was visiting people contacting talked with another less active normal slow night

Sunday church and then lunch studied all of that was the same for the most part church there was only 42 people. Then afterwards took sacrament to a guy and talked about his conversion story and lots of things. Then talked with some other people and an investigator that we found for luck because he normally is really busy being a police officer and stuff. Then we talked with another guy and went home and the slept good.

Today woke up, breakfasted, came here to cyber to write. Everyone talks about the copa America and soccer and everything. US is doing kinda good it seems. That was the week and transfers calls is this Saturday so we will see this week if I go somewhere or if I stay and what happens. Last transfer only 1 of the 22 of us left in the zone so I think this transfer a lot will leave. We will wait and see. Thanks to everyone!

Hey,

Friday was a normal day waking up and contacting and then lunch and studied then left and taught a lesson to this 11 yr old girl who has the grandma. Then after we left we went to the church for correlation with the mission leader and then afterwards play a little bit of soccer at the church because there were kids playing that night and we played for a little and then my companion ripped his pants.

Saturday we went to another of the other missionary baptisms because we had invited one of our investigators to watch the baptism but they never came so we had to leave and then we worked had lunch studied then had a lesson set for 7 at night and we got over to the lesson at 7 and no one was home and so we called their cell and the lady picked up and said she had waited for us until 6 50 then left when we didn’t come and we said because we would be there at 7 so next time we know to get there a little early.

Sunday went to a boys house to take him to church with us to the chapel in Guemes but when we got there his brother said he was sleeping and he wasn’t coming to church so we had to turn around and take a bus to the chapel in Necochea. Then church was normal got to know a few of the members and then we went home and had lunch and contacted the afternoon and night. Found one guy when we knocked at a house next to an evangelical church but the house was the minister or pastor of this evangelical church and he was from Britain so we talked with him in English and then he asked when did you chaps get to know your Savior at what age and then we talked about religious stuff and then he said he is only there on the weekends.

Monday contacted the morning and lunched and then contacted the whole day practically nothing really fun just a normal missionary day of talking with people contacting proselyting teaching two lessons that was about it. Until the night when we went to a less active man´s house and he was in bed and he started talking to us and telling us stories of when he was mission leader in the branch and when he lived in Buenos Aires and scriptures and all kinds of stuff. And then he showed us he only has half of his left leg then amputated it because disease or sickness or something like right above the knee. So yeah and then he called for his wife and told her to throw some malta on the stove and then we drank some weird fake coffee no caffeine kinda weird tasting hot chocolate called Malta.

Tuesday regular morning and then had lunch pizza and zone meeting and played games and normal stuff practices and preach my gospel and all of it then we had another lesson afterwards with this 11 yr old and the grandma and we showed them the Joseph Smith video of the Restoration. Then we went and talked with another less active man afterwards and he gave us two good references or referrals and then we went and visited them and the one turned out to be a guy who was actually interested and we have an appointment to go teach him on Friday during the siesta.

Wednesday yesterday woke up had service went to an hermano´s house and he has a huge pit or hole in his back yard and we helped dig it deeper and farther and we just shoveled and moved dirt and it was super fun and I felt like I was in the movie Holes I kept quoting things from the movie and being really funny like in the movie. Then had lunch and studied and planned for the upcoming week then left and went and talked with a few people with no success then it started raining out of the blue and we began to walk home and we passed a choripan place so we stopped and bought two choripans and talked with the guy there who was selling them and he was real nice and we told him who we were and what we believe and about our church and then he told us about what he believed in which was 7 reincarnations this is his first life and he will die and his body will sit in the earth and the spirit will leave and then go into another body being born again and he will have a second life and instead of selling choripan maybe he will be a carpenter or wood worker or something.

Thursday or today we woke up had breakfast and then came to write that is why we are kind of early today and we are emailing and probably will go for empanadas and then back to the house and chill and just enjoy the day.

Thanks for everyone´s letters and prayers and I hope all of you are doing good and having fun and enjoying yourselves but staying safe and if you want go read Alma 37:37 it is good and be grateful and of all your blessings. Take care and with love

Hola!

Friday we contacted almost all day and it rained so many people don’t open their doors or reject us or they say chicos come back another day when the weather is better when it’s not raining. So not much success.

Saturday was Conference and that was good we worked a little in the morning didn’t find anyone then we had lunch and took the bus over to the chapel and watched conference form 1 to 3 and that was good and then stayed there until 5 and watched from 5 to 7 and then we left and went contacting a little and then went home we couldn’t watch or see priesthood because it was 9 to 11 that night.

Sunday same thing woke up went to church and I talked with this new elder brand new straight from the MTC and also he is from Maryland so I can finally relate to someone from East Coast. Elder Coleman, he is cool and he practically told us the whole Star Wars Movie before conference started and then we watched again 1 to 3 and stayed at church and then 5 to 7 and then went home and planned and did some other stuff and then went to bed. But in general for the both days I really enjoyed conference I took lots of notes but not of what the speakers said but what the Spirit told me to note or write down. But I really liked these two days it was a good break and everything that everyone said I could take and apply to the missionary work and the apostles and prophets knew exactly what to say and I noticed a lot of themes that were touched upon. I can’t wait to read all of them in the upcoming Liahona or Ensign and then read them all over again.

Monday once again it rained so we contacted in the morning and found absolutely no one and then went home and lunched and studied and then went back out in the afternoon and it was still raining it hadn’t stopped and the afternoon and night was again finding no one but we went and visited this part member family the mom and the 3 kids are members and we are working with the 4 child the last one and youngest to work towards baptism and teach her but also the father of this family is Muslim and we talked a lot with him because honestly I don’t know a whole bunch about that religion and I wanted to learn and for example they believe Jesus was a good prophet and our Savior but they don’t believe he is the son of God. And I was like how and he told me Where in the Bible does it say I am the son of God or God is my father and I opened up to a random page and sure enough it said soy el hijo de Dios and vino al mundo... Obviously everywhere in the Bible every page testifies and says he is the Son of God so how can’t they not believe it. I do however want to get my hands on a read a Koran or Quran.

Tuesday we woke up and walked really far to visit this one lady and she wasn’t home so then we walked back and contacted a little and then went and made copies and bought lunch ingredients to make it and went home and ate it and then had zone meeting and we talked and played games to help us with the Book of Mormona and Preach My Gospel like hangman and guess who this prophet is? He died by fire. Abinadi yes. And that was really fun and then we headed over to the other chapel for meeting with mission leader and he ended up never coming or showing up so we left and contacted that night and visited another part member family and then another investigator. So we are getting places slow but steady.

Yesterday Wednesday we woke up for service; we picked up trash in the street and garbage in the grass and along the road and that was kind of weird I felt people were judging us or like thinking why are two young boys collecting garbage. Then we had lunch something good here called Aoquis? or gnocchi. It was good then we studied and left and went for one investigator and we got there right as he was leaving his house and smoking marijuana leaving right when we arrived. Then we went for another lady and she wasn’t home and then went for a part member family and talked with the grandma and she left the church because she didn’t want to pay tithing she said the branch president tried to force her and tell her she had to pay tithing so she left the church and never gone back but we are working with her youngest granddaughter to be baptized the other grandkids are already and the mom too but the mom is never there she is in a psychiatric hospital. Then we went home after talking with grandma and the kids and we planned and went to bed

Today Thursday I tried to make oatmeal for breakfast but it turned out terrible it was too watery and runny and I don’t know how to do it. But anyway if you have any other recipes or anything else you want to send me of something I should make I would love that and am wide open for any recipes. We are emailing now and then will go eat lunch and go home and just chill and stay in the house.

Hope everyone at home is doing well and everyone is having fun and enjoying the PA spring. Go visit some Amish people, that is what everyone here knows PA for. Thanks for everything! Go Villanova!! Also I heard that Spencer Josephsen is home from his mission.

Okay so this week was a little different but I´ll get there eventually.

Friday we went on divisions with the district leader so my companion was with him and I was with the companion of our district leader Elder Rodriguez. And we went to the family of our mission leader and we pulled out grass and dug up some dirt and stuff kind of just prepping when they will put flowers in the dirt later. Then we went over to the church and we brought this investigator Michael and he had a baptism interview with the zone leaders at the church and he passed so he was to get baptized the next day. Then we went back the mission leaders house talked some more played with his kids a little then went home lunched studied then the afternoon we went and taught an English class at the church and that was good but I’m not super great at explaining English or teaching it so I just came up with games to help them practice. Then we went home and changed and came back to the church in sport clothes because we were going to play futbol (soccer) with some guys there because we had brought an investigator to play and if one of our investigators goes to play we are allowed to accompany and play too so played soccer like all night long until we had to be back at the house at 9.

Saturday woke up taught some people in the morning came home we were to have a lesson with Marco this investigator that comes to church every week and he says his leg is broken. We were to have a lesson with him at the church right before the baptisms and then we would all just watch the baptisms together because this boy Michael was being baptized and the zone leaders had this one lady Debora also being baptized. So we are walking home and the zone leaders call me and told me there was this guy who has been investigating the church for like almost 3 years and he is always riding around town on his bike talking to us missionaries saying like when am I going to be baptized this guy named David so I know the guy because I’ve seen him around and we’ve talked to him a few times. And for all this years he hasn’t been baptized his because he still smokes a little and drinks his coffee and when he is with his friends he has just a little wine just to wash the food down.  However up to like 3 months ago he gave it all up hasn’t smoked in even longer his last coffee was like 3 weeks ago and he has stopped drinking wine. So the zone leaders found him today talked with him took him into the church and conducted a baptismal interview and the guy passed he has always had a strong testimony and knows all the answers he just didn’t keep the word of wisdom but because he has given all of that up as of 3 months ago he was able to pass the interview because now he is keeping the word of wisdom law. And he was to be baptized today that is why the zone leaders called me was to get my clothes ready and come on over to the church to baptize David. And he wasn’t my investigator or anything I talked with him a few times but they said they just needed someone to baptize him (also like all members are gone because the temple trip to buenos Aires was this Saturday) So they needed an elder to baptize and the district leader and his companion (los Uruguayos because they are both from there) already had Michael to be baptized for today and the zone leaders had Debora being baptized today so our companionship was free so I was given the honor to baptize David. I dug out my white clothes dropped them off at the church and then ended over the Marco´s house to teach him and bring him to watch the baptisms.
So we get there and he comes stumbling out I thought it was because his broken leg until we realized he was completely drunk. So he starts yelling at us and saying a bunch of stuff and we are like Marco we can’t bring you into the church to watch the baptisms if you are wasted and have been drinking wine like crazy and he is like but I want to go and take me I want to go to church and we told him he couldn’t come and then by this point he stood up out of his chair and takes a step toward us and we take a step backwards because it seemed like he was about to hit us or something so we backed up slowly and he started yelling again and crying and saying all kinds of weird stuff and we just told him we will come back tomorrow for Sunday church and hope you are sober and we left. Then went to the church got in the waters at the service. I baptized David, the other baptisms happened it was a super spiritual experience and I loved to baptize. it was such a good feeling I described it like I felt my sins were being washed away but really they weren’t the sins of him were being washed I was just performing the ordinance and then I dunked him and gave him a hug then we went to change and had the rest of the service in the chapel and then once that ended we had banana bread and ice cream and then the assistants called the zone leaders and they told us that we were staying both of us and that we had the boundaries of our area changed.

Sunday we woke up went to look for Marco found him at his house he didn’t remember anything from yesterday he was completely normal again and he said he just needed to shower and change clothes and he would walk to church by himself. So we get to church have a normal three hours of church but Marco never showed up I don’t know what happen to him.  Then we went home lunch studied and then went out and visited some people didn’t really find many people. It was just a normal Sunday but now I’m preparing for this Sunday because it is conference.

Monday this was our first new day in this new area. So how it worked before was that the six of us in Guemes all shared like just one area I think I explained this before so we all proselyte and all work in the same area but not they have divided it. And the Uruguayos have everything from the church up so from 94 up is their area. The zone leaders have from the church 94 down until 74. And then my companion and I get this new area that is 74 and down until the beach or the port on the right side of street 59. So we are only on half the avenue the side that is close to and against the river. Which also means know our area covers two branches Guemes and Necochea. So Monday we took a bus all the way down to the port and then started really low and contacted our way up back towards the house. And that was just a normal day because we have no investigators so we just contacted all day just trying to find new people.

Tuesday we contacted had lunch then went the zone meeting where we did our monthly planning. Then afterwards we stayed longer to talk with the hermanas because the hermanas are also over branch Necochea but their area is on the other side of avenue 59 so they cover everything in the branch that isn’t our area. So we talked with them they gave us a couple people that live in our area and then we had meeting with the mission leader and we talked about getting us started up and working then after that we had ward council with all the leaders and we talked some more so the whole afternoon and night we spent just in the church in branch Necochea.

Wednesday the zone leaders said the hermanas that lived in branch Centro had been transferred we already knew that from when they called about transfers on Saturday but the point is that house in Centro is vacant so we were allowed to move in there. So we packed up all our bags and stuff and now we moved over to a house in Centro over there and no we don’t have such a far walk to work in our area. Yesterday we literally spent all day moving our stuff cleaning the house getting our area book worked out setting up a map getting everything up and running so we can start to really work looking in the area book and everything.

Today Thursday we had arroz con leche for breakfast and then we went and are writing and emailing this morning. I think we will go grocery shopping later today. So for now we got a newish area well the boundaries of our old area moved so we have a new area new branch to work with just got a new house and moved in. How is everyone back home and preparing for the spring and summer. Hope all of you guys are doing well and having fun. Thanks!!!

3-24-16

Hello all,

Well not much happened this week but I do have some good news at the end. But that doesn’t mean not reading the email and skipping to the end. Anyway...

Friday was normal woke up went to find people in the morning. Found a few people, had lunch studied, left, went to a reference the other elders gave us that they didn’t have time to visit so we would go as replacements. So we go to an address looking for a red house and a lady named Olga. And we get there have a little trouble finding the house but then finally encountered it and we knock and no one is home so we leave and go knock some other house and come back in about an hour and we knock again and man opens the door and we say we are wondering if Olga is home and he says no there is no Olga or nobody like that who lives at that house that address. He is Damian and there is no Olga. So we call the other elders and they repeat the address and the what the house looks like and everything and the description and address matches this house perfectly so we knock again and ask is there anyone home that is a woman or anyone who sounds like Olga or Rorga or Torga or una tortuga or something and no. Only this guy Damian and he lives with his mom; she is Mercedes. So we left and go home and the other elders had the right house and everything they just had the wrong name. So we were supposed to talk with Mercedes so we will have to go back some other time.

Saturday we did like nothing; went to the river in the morning found like one person and then the afternoon was talked to like 3 people it was a pretty slow and uneventful day.

Sunday woke up and went and looked for an investigator and he said he wasn’t ready; he still needs to shower and get ready so he said he would just show up late to church which we said that is fine. So we went to church alone and then he walked there himself and showed up like right after we finished the Sacrament so he got to hear the talks given. Then he also stayed for Gospel Principles and for Priesthood and he said he liked them both. And then we asked if we could come by later in the week or come teach him like in two days or so and he was like he needs to go to the doctor this week and has to get some pills because his leg is broken and we were just like whoa what Marco your leg is broken and you are just going to take some medicine that’s it okay. So we will see how he is doing. Then after church was normal we actually didn’t talk to like anyone so the whole night was just rejection and walking around and not teaching or talking to anyone it was a little weird. It has been a long time since we have had to put down 0 for people talked to.

Monday the zone leaders and the district leader was supposed to go to Bahia Blanca for a little conference for leaders to talk to President so it would have just been my companion and I with the house to ourselves because the other 4 were to leave but then the district leader over slept and missed his bus so then him and his companion stayed and it was just the four of us. And other then that it was just a normal day nothing really happened. But then that night we past for that Olga/ Mercedes whatever her name is and we taught her a little bit and talked with her son Damian who says he wants to eventually move and live in the US and he just doesn’t know if there is much work if he could find a job super easily.

Tuesday woke up and visited a few people didn’t really find anyone but then that afternoon we had zone meeting and we gathered together like we do every Tuesday and the zone leaders get it started with announcements and they announced some new changes in the mission.

First that President is letting all Americans able to vote. So somewhere in the future he is going to work that out and we will have to take our absentee ballots back and he wants all of us to vote in the November elections. Because we can’t watch any debates or interesting stuff about the race he will send us stuff through email about the candidates and what is going on in the race and all and then once November comes around we will be able to vote. So that was first that all the American missionaries we can now vote.

Second is we have to organize and make carpetas de ƃ¡rea so folders or binders with everything in the area: all investigators we have and just make things nice and organized. Because there have been many times that two missionaries get to a new area and there is like no work or history left for them so these two new elders start what we call blind knowing nothing about the area. Because the last elders didn’t leave a list or papers or anything of the investigators in the area. So now we have to be keeping track of everyone and have records or teaching and people and stuff so stuff like two elders coming into an area new and blind don’t have nothing to work with and don’t have any records or investigators  and they don’t have to start all over from scratch. That will eliminate that from happening anymore.

Third was he is changing transfers from every 6 weeks to he wants us to be and stay in our areas longer so that we can work more and get more done and know the people better and baptize more. He has changed it to we stay and transfers are every 6 months. Which is kind of crazy and also long but that will ensure that people can like get a lot done in 6 months and they don’t just go to an area 6 weeks, leave go to another get transferred in 6 weeks, leave go somewhere else, leave. Now we will start staying in places for 6 months.

Fourth or last we will start doing monthly planning in addition to our weekly and daily planning. And that was what the zone meeting was and everyone asked questions and people were confused, some were mad, so we talked a lot about the new changes to happen. Then we left and we went and taught a lesson at a new member family’s house and it went super well and their son had questions but then their grandmother came home and she hates missionaries and she gave us a dirty look and ignored us and just went straight to her room.

Wednesday we went and did service digging holes at someone´s house and that was fun and interesting I felt like the movie Holes digging up them holes digging. It was fun and then we went and had lunch and then studied and did weekly planning and then we went and taught a lesson and it went super well. The lady understood everything and had great questions. “I have a 3 month baby, he is not able to sin why does he have to be baptized” and we responded he doesn’t our church baptizes at 8 years old and accountability and all that and Moroni 8. And she asks about plan of salvation we go after this life and why is the Catholic Church rich and it is really just a big business just all for the money and she asked about baptism and how catholic priests study to be priests but you don’t choose to be prophet or priest of God. God will choose you like he chooses Joseph Smith and all his prophets and Hebrews 5. And all of that it was so good best lesson we ever had with anyone lots of inspired questions and all.

Today Thursday we played basketball this morning and now we are here writing and emailing after we just finished lunch.

Transfers are this Sunday we find out where we are going this Saturday and either I’ll stay here in Guemes or I may get transferred somewhere else and then I will stay in wherever I go for the next 6 months. So I may only have 3 more areas in my mission. Easter we aren’t doing anything here. It was a good week and now fall or autumn is here and the weather is great a little cold but I like it. Thanks to all of y´all and have a good week.

Love,

Elder Frampton

Hello family and friends,

Friday, the morning we woke up and went to the river to talk to this one guy and he just brought up all the facts and maps and he just has a lot of problems with praying and the Book of Mormon and the total Restoration so we just asked him what he wanted to get from our lessons and why we were here and what does he really want to learn more, be baptized, what are his desires in listening to us. And he was like oh just to argue and listen to a couple of kids. Something on the lines of that so we just told him if you have no true desires or interest in any of this then we will just leave you alone. So we pretty much just dropped him as an investigator, but we are still really good friends and he said whenever we want to come over we are welcome and if we need juice or lunch or to use to the bathroom or just to rest or sleep for a little bit we are allowed to come over to his house and just chill. Then the afternoon and the night was just a normal day with lunch studies and working at night at stuff, nothing much else happened that day.

Saturday we woke up and went to a shoe smith kind of place because my companion´s shoes were like ripping at the toes and just breaking, but then the guys there sewed them all up and fixed them and they are all good now. Then we made some photo copies of the Proclamation of the Family document. Then the rest of the morning was normal; we didn’t really find or teach anyone. Then the afternoon we had the youth session of district conference so we went to that and President Cifuentes and his wife spoke and they said lots of good things to animate and excite the youth to start talking to their friends and work with the missionaries so we can strengthen the church and the youth and that we just need to work together. Then after we went contacting and we found one house that a guy answered the door just smiling then called his wife and she came to the door and she was a member but her husband isn’t and he doesn’t seem to have real interest but the wife said she wants to start coming back to church; she is inactive for the past like 6 years.

Sunday was the normal morning session of district conference and this time President talked about when he went to Sri Lanka and there were problems with his visa. So long story short he landed in jail for customs visa problems and just had to wait there until everything got worked out and he was free to go. But then he tied it in with how we have spiritual visas and don’t get caught without your visa. It is our temple recommend and everyone should have one even if they can never attend the temple and never will go. It’s the piece of paper that you are worthy and ready to go to the temple that really matters and it is true. Then that ended and we went home had lunch and studied then left in the afternoon and went to look for people and found the father of this one couple we were looking for and then we have this one lady who is a Jehovah Witness but she wasn’t home. But instead we found her son and we talked with him for a little and then we found some other people and then we worked into the night and it was just about time to go home so we just knocked one last house and come to found out it was a property rent dealer place that works with like selling buying properties I don’t know how to describe it a business type place and the guy invites us in and we are sitting at like his work desk just talking and we share like one scripture and he said he had talked with missionaries before. But that was a cool last house before we went home.

Monday we woke up went to the river to contact. And we found like a couple people but no one super interested but we did clap outside this one house and a lady walks out and over to us and starts talking in Russian and of course me not thinking tell her in Spanish that we don’t speak Russian and then a girl comes out of the house and runs over to us and she translates for the grandma and we are talking to this lady as her granddaughter acts as the interpreter. Then after that we went home for lunch and studied then we went and taught this one girl the restoration and she said she will come to church to just check it out but let’s see if she actually holds to her word and comes this Sunday. Then the rest of the afternoon we just knocked around but didn’t really find anyone.

Tuesday we woke up and contacted around and then at 11 we went to Centro because the other elders had a wedding of these two members that they having been working with to get their siblings baptized it is kind of confusing but yeah the other elders have a couple that was getting married so we got to go to that and just be camera man and take pictures and it was literally like walk in say some words sign some papers do some more paperwork the other two elders were the witnesses and they signed and then all of a sudden they were married they we went outside and threw rice at them. It was an interesting experience but it just made me want to know what a temple marriage or it is more of a sealing is like because I have never got to see one. Then we went home and ate and then had zone meeting and we met and talked about book of Mormon and the missionary work and I had to say the opening prayer so nothing big. Then that was a normal meeting and then we quickly went home and left again because we had correlation at the church soon after with the mission leader and we talked about our investigators and certain needs and just chatted about the mission work then we left and went to a member’s house and taught them.

Wednesday we woke up and went and did service went to a members house; dug some holes in the ground then sanded and cleaned up the window shutters and door and stuff and sanded them down then re painted them and that was fun but it was hot out. To be honest all of a sudden this week it has been really hot here and I have no clue why. Then we left went home I got a haircut and then showered then ate lunch then studied and went to a lesson but the person was sleeping so we left. Then contacted around and then went home and planned and we did weekly planning and talked and then that was the day. Felt kind of short day and a short week because I remember planning last week too.

Today Thursday woke up played soccer, made pancakes left went to do a little shopping and went to the bank I took out 600 pesos which is about 40 dollars because I need to buy some stuff. Recently I’ve been looking at getting some bedding or something like sheets because my legs are all red and have like all these little red bites all over them so I’m thinking my bed may have something or it is dirty, but then point is I should be getting some bed sheets soon so I took out a little money to do that and do some other stuff. Then we went to the river and we took pictures there and we found all these crabs and saw the bridge. I don’t know if I will be able to send those this time I might need to wait until next time. Then we went and had asado and a really good lunch and then we came here and are writing. Also my nose has been runny this week and I took some Claritin D and some stuff to help with that but it hasn’t really done anything. My nose is still runny.

I think that is everything I have to say for now I hope I didn’t forget anything. I did get that package a few weeks back with the Valentines stuff. Thanks to everyone and have a great week!!

3-10-16

Dear everyone,

Friday was a normal day we just contacted people, lunched, studied, contacted more and found this one blind lady who was being assisted by her daughter they both seemed pretty nice so I think we will go back in the future. Then we went for an old lady that is one of the other elders investigator but they didn’t have time that night to go by or visit her so they sent us in their place and we get down there and knock on a door and no one answers how funny the house we knocked on was street 67 number 2125. But the address we needed to be at was street 66 so we were a little off and we had to walk like a little ways and then found the house and she answered and said she was busy with company over or something so then we left.

Saturday was also another day nothing really special the morning was just contacting and then the afternoon we looked for some people and didn’t really find anyone except for this one kind of soft spoken kind guy that we talked too and just extended an invitation to go to church tomorrow and that was like about it for the day.

Sunday we woke up went to church and then one random guy from the day before was there and we were like wow you came you aren’t even like our investigator or anything just some man that we contacted and invited yesterday. He seemed kind of out of place and confused the whole time because people were going up and bearing testimonies of plan of salvation and Book of Mormon and other like stuff that a normal guy wouldn’t know if this was his first time in our church. Then we went home and had lunch and normal afternoon and we contacted and visited people and like everyone was busy watching the game because supposedly there was a big game on even like we contacted this one house and there was a bunch of teen girls watching the soccer game and I was like whoa this isn’t normally normal for a group of girls to be doing on a Sunday afternoon. But whatever it’s Argentina everyone loves soccer no matter who you are. Then we were walking past another house and a guy invited us in and we walk into the house and sitting there is the Hermanas the Misioneras from Necochea central and we are like whoops are we in your area right now and we were a little lost so we apologized and left. Haha

Monday we went and taught this one guy in the morning that just analyzes everything he pulls out all these maps and papers and research and why doesn’t the universal history of the world go along with the history of the book of Mormon and where is the evidence for it and who is Joseph Smith and we told him to pray and read and he tells us he read the whole book of Mormon from the last time we saw him like 5 days ago and the book didn’t convince him and he is super stubborn and the way he prays he only prays using Our Father prayer and he refuses to change or pray any other way. And because it says like that to pray in the Bible that is the only way we can by reciting Our Father prayer over and over and over. There is no feeling, no conversation with God that way. He just struggles with praying believing the book of Mormon is true and Joseph Smith is a prophet because there is no historical evidence of it and there isn’t any artifacts or maps or anything it just doesn’t make sense with world history. After we left his house after arguing for like 2 hours the rest of the day was normal a normal afternoon and night.

Tuesday the morning was normal; we contacted down by the river and found these nice resort and restaurant and log cabins and vacation spot and all this stuff and the rowing club and wild horses and cattle. One lady said we can come back another morning because she was busy this morning bathing her little boy and I didn’t believe her until the little youngster kid walked out of the house naked; I was like okay we will come back another morning go bathe your kid. So we will probably pass by for her again in the future. Then the afternoon we found a guy and talked and talked because he didn’t believe in life after death. And we discussed and talked and then he showed us the stuff he has been working on. He is like a wood worker and he has a chimenea and a chair and a bench and a table and wind chimes and made all kinds of stuff and he brings out his guitar and my companion just jams out on it and the guy gets his harmonica and so my companion is playing the guitar and he on the harmonica and I just sit there clapping and playing my scriptures like drums. Then we are walking back to the house at night and it starts pouring out of nowhere and like a hard down drizzle like a storm so we start sprinting and you know Argentine streets dirt roads so we are running through mud and lots of puddles of water and we got completely soaked - my shirt, my pants, my tie, even down to my under wear were soaked from running like 10 cuadras or blocks in the heavy rain. So then I took everything off when I got home and they have been air drying  for the past 2 days

Yesterday, Wednesday we cleaned the church for service then had lunch, studied, planned for the week and then left in the afternoon, almost night found this family that are almost members they have took all the discussions from the missionaries before us and they are just waiting to get married but they were super nice gave us like homemade bread or torta or something with orange soda. Then that night we went to the church because we had meeting with the mission leader and that was okay we kind of just chatted, didn’t really talk that much about certain problems we just talked about like progress and people we are teaching right now that was about it. Then we went home after that.

Today, Thursday played soccer this morning then made French Toast for breakfast then came into Centro to shop for books or something the other elders needed and some book my companion wanted and then we ate hamburgers at a Shell gas station and now we are emailing and writing.

But it is almost time to go I have 12 minutes left so I better start wrapping up. Thanks for all your emails this week have a good rest of the week. Have fun and love you all.

Love,

Elder Frampton

3-3-16 (week 27)

How is everyone,

Friday was just a normal day of contacting and visiting like the 3 or 4 people that we have as investigators. Then lunch, then studies then the night was normal. We visited this one lady we ran into the other day who is a Jehovah Witness. At first when we contacted her it didn’t go that well but as the more we talked and longer we did, we kind of grew on her and she said we could pass by another day. So we passed by this night and found her in her house and we taught the Restoration and she was like always going on and on that Jehovah is God not Jesus. And she at one point at the end was like wow our churches and beliefs are almost exactly the same except for this Joe Smith crazy thing. And we were just like what our churches are nothing alike you don’t even belief in a Restoration. But she liked the Book of Mormon and the whole Apostasy and everything leading up to the restoration. she just had a hard time with the First Vision and Joseph Smith that he saw Father and the Son. She said she would read the Book of Mormon and we said we would come back another day. Also the whole time I kept on looking over at the Son because he was on the computer playing World of Warcraft and I was like whoa he is running a Druid Tank combo in this raid (Ask Mike or Chris what that means) So I would watch him play when I would look over every now and then. There is a missionary here from Brazil and he speaks like perfect English and he learned how to speak and learned English from playing video games mainly World of Warcraft.

Saturday we went closer to the river and contacted to see what we could find over there. And we found one lady that spoke English because her and her husband lived in South Africa for 4 years. But she couldn’t talk much because she was baking a cake for her sobrino. Also keep in mind all the people that live by the river are rich, have huge river houses and pools and are kinda of old. Then we contacted another house and it was a lady and she talked to us for a while and her husband was in the shower. She is Catholic but doesn’t like to go to the church nor does she like the Pope right now. She says she has talked with the Mormons before and she knows a little about our church she says she has a book from us. Brings out a book that is titled like Hope. And I look inside it and it was a book from the Seventh Day Adventists. Then she tells us one of her sons when he was a teen was really good friends with a Mormon boy and the father tried to force the boy to go on a mission but the boy didn’t want to go, so one day he hung himself. And I was surprised, she said that scared her son for a while. Then we knocked one more house and a girl answered like her in 20s and had braces she was very nice and said we could come back some other day.

Sunday was church; nothing super exciting. I helped an old lady walk to her car. Normal church came home, lunch, study, leave, contact. Went to one house looking for a lady named Deborah; we get there and no one answers then a car pulls up and they live there but it wasn’t her. it was her family and we talked with them and they were super interesting and we taught restoration in the sidewalk and gave them a Book of Mormon and they had tons of questions and wanted to know more about us personally and also what we do as missionaries and that kind of stuff and we just normal talked and it was super tranquil and then at the end they wanted to take a picture I guess many people don’t see or know Mormon missionaries. They were like super Italian too.

Monday we went back to the river and went to the house of the lady that we talked with before for a while and the husband answered and we talked with him and he was super interested too and he said he would let us in but he doesn’t have the keys to the gate to let us in but then right then the wife came home in the car and unlocked the gate and we all went inside and they talked for like an hour about the marines and navy and his time on the boats and all of that. and then they showed us there 15 page scrapbook of their 4 cats and we look at pictures of their cats for twenty minutes then we taught like half the restoration and it was time to go. Then before we left they asked if we could leave them with that special book we had and they asked us for a Book of Mormon even though we didn’t even talk about it or say anything because we only taught the first half of the restoration and then the lady told us the friend of the son who hung himself was a Jehovah Witness not a Mormon. The dad was trying to get the Jehovah Witness son to go out proselyting and the boy hung himself. I was so glad it wasn’t it a Mormon.

Tuesday was zone conference and President Cifuentes came and he talked and his wife and the assistants and it was great and he taught many stuff how to teach better and contact better and lots of things I can’t say or write because they are important to me as a missionary so they would have like no use for normal people like you. But at the end he took questions from all of us and people asked all these profound great questions and he knew the answer for every one. Also the assistants to President are staying in our house this week to work with the zone leaders. So our house is a little crowded with 8 of us.

Wednesday we painted a house for service and then lunch, then planning for the week, and then we visited another girl but instead found her sister home and we talked with her and she is interested and then the sister the girl we were looking for came back and then we talked with both of them and they like the message of the restoration and said if they have time maybe they will come to church in the future maybe, not this Sunday but next.

Today Thursday woke up played soccer at church, had pancakes for breakfast, and then went and took a picnic to the river and played chess and took pictures and had ham and cheese sandwiches and slept a little it was really peaceful. And now we left the river and are emailing now.

It was a good week I enjoyed it. Hope everyone is well and enjoying themselves as well. What is the weather in the future looking like?

2-25-16 (Week 26)

Hello family and friends,

I don’t know how much I can actually write because my keyboard is really junky right now and like half the buttons I have to press down really hard all the way to make it type and write so you may see missing letters sorry.

Friday I was on divisions (exchanges) with district leader Elder Ortega from Uruguay. We contacted like all day but he gave me a lot of helpful tips and things to do so I learned a little from the experience.

Saturday we contacted in the morning and then for lunch we got together with the old man that lives behind us our neighbor I guess and he made us this huge chicken with potatoes and peppers and in this sauce and we ate with him and it was super delicious but costed us the missionaries like 350 pesos. It was a good day

Sunday my companion gave a talk in church about la obra misional. And then I also helped an old lady go to the bathroom because she was having trouble walking and standing up so I gave her my arm and helped her up and walked her to the bathroom with another lady. It was a good Sunday we are starting to get to know the members a little bit better more and more.

Monday we contacted in the morning had lunch and studied and prepared a lesson because we found a lady like last week that was super great and she told us to pass by again this week so we passed by after our studies and she was home and we taught her the Restoration and her family was there and she had other relatives visiting from Buenos Aries I think and there was a point where like everyone gathered around us and was listening in on what we were teaching this lady and like everyone was like super interested and like slowly we became the attention of the party we became like the center of the night. So we taught her that and then left her with Plan of Salvation pamphlet and she really loved the lesson and she wants us to keep coming and teach more and is excited to hear about the next lesson the Plan of Salvation. So through all of this, this lady is now are first real investigator here wahoo. After contacting and proselyting everyday all day we finally have someone great that wants to hear more and we taught a lesson to.

Tuesday was a normal day we were walking in the morning and these two boys called us over and said oh are you guys here for my brother and we said no we don’t know you, we are just passing by walking on this street but we said we will talk with your brother anyway so they called him out of the house and we talked and he was interested in playing soccer with us and coming back to church because he said he got a book of Mormon like a year ago and got taught but then that was it. So we invited him to play soccer and come to church this Sunday.

Then in the afternoon we went to a less active lady’s house and we get there and she is just sewing on our front porch and we get to talking and she starts telling us about all these bad kids and these gangs and that they robbed her the other day and stole her money and her bracelet and they probably want our watches that us as missionaries wear so we need to watch out and she said they have been robbing a lot and it is dangerous and the other day she heard one kid got killed by one of the gangs down by the beach they killed someone and then she said there was another death not long ago one of the gangs hung a kid. And I look at her like wait did I hear that right ¨Un chico fue colgado¨ and she says yes you heard that right they hanged a kid. And she continues and tells us these guys are huge into drugs and cocaine and marijuana and that there are some many exchanges and stuff going on and she hears like so many gun fights and stuff between gangs and I was like these boys that live in the neighborhood behind her house actually sound pretty dangerous so she told us to never go in the neighborhood behind her house but she said her neighborhood is fine. Then she took us around back and showed us her garden her lemon tree her squashes her peppers her mint plant her oregano her onions more squash and like everything. Then we finally sit down and share one scripture and then she tells us she has gotten back into smoking and she knows about the Word of Wisdom because she is less active but she is still a member so she said we need to help her quit and then she talks about other stuff that people like offended her in the church and that is the reason she doesn’t want to come to church because she is still mad at some people. It was an interesting afternoon and night because of this lady.

Wednesday the morning we watched a live broadcast of Elder Bednar talking to all the missionaries in the South America South region and Elder ViƱas and Gonzalez and Texeiera was in the broadcast too and it was super cool and neat experience everything that Elder Bednar said was like super important and like all the missionaries benefited from and it was a great experience I’m glad I’m here in the mission right now that I was able to hear that because the stuff that was said was so inspiring I can’t say much more because I think it was just for missionaries so I can’t really talk about it. Then that night we had a lesson with another girl that we found last week also and she told us to come back this week so we did and we taught her the Restoration and read from the Book of Mormon Alma 32 about faith. So we taught one lesson and she told us to come back again in the future another day so now this girl is an investigator also so we are up to 2 now.

Today Thursday we played soccer this morning and then had empanadas for lunch and now we are emailing. Tonight we had a noche hogar with a family and we are going to play games and bake brownies.

I hope everyone is doing well and having fun haha and the weather there. Also I heard President Obama was here in Argentina this past week and also I heard that Donald Trump is leading the polls right now. Let me in on some of the gossip and what’s going on in the US right now. Thanks!!

2-18-16 (Week 25)

Dear family!

Thursday we played soccer at the church and that was super fun I’m starting to become pretty good surprisingly.

Friday an area Seventy came, Elder Resek and we took a bus to Mar del Plata and in the church there he talked to us and his wife and also President Cifuentes and his wife too and they talked about a lot of good stuff. Reviewed the concepts and ideas from a missionary broadcast that we saw like 3 weeks ago from Salt Lake. Shared cool stories and gave us good advice to talk to people and testify always and invite people to repent and how important repentance is for our investigators and the Sacrament also is super important too. Teach Repentance and Baptize Converts.

Saturday was a normal day we have no investigators because we are both new in the area and don’t know anyone so we contact like every day and just try to find people to teach and become investigators and stuff. So we proselyted all day

Sunday was church and I blessed the sacrament and then the five of us that are new to the area all bore our testimonies and welcomes. Then we went to Gospel Principles and that was really good we talked about Prayer the power of prayer and how to do it and the things we should say and just miracles and stories of prayer. Then Priesthood was about blessings like giving blessings of health and comfort and we addressed like school blessings. And it made me super grateful that every year Dad would give me a blessing to start the school year and I’m pretty sure that is like the only reason I did good in school haha.

Monday again was searching and finding people to teach and to listen to us and everyone is either like busy or has company or family over or doesn’t believe in God or already has their religion.

Tuesday we knocked on a door and a lady answered and we started talking and we found out she is an inactive member and we asked what happened why she left the church and she said because she had problems with the plan of salvation. She feels and believes that life is more of we live, we die, we reincarnate; she didn’t like the idea of the resurrection she believes in reincarnation. And she told us she knows Joseph Smith was a prophet and the Book of Mormon is true. she has never denied that but she just doesn’t like the plan of salvation the whole spirit world and the three kingdoms that doesn’t seem right like the different levels of glory and then she started going off about how she doesn’t believe in being married for eternity and living with your family for forever. She started talking about like sex is only possible with our time right now on the Earth and like spirit child isn’t like possible because when we die we leave our bodies here and our spirits go and then far down the road we can all obtain eternal life right yes so we can all be gods and goddesses but we can’t have children because we are just spirits and spirits can’t make children they can create children like out of matter like how Heavenly Father made us like created us out of matter but can’t like have physical children.
I was just sitting there like this is why we need the resurrection because we will all have perfect bodies and with a perfect body we can have children we will have bodies to make children. The whole thing just made me realize like how set in stone my thoughts and beliefs and understanding of the plan of salvation is. Like I know that this plan of salvation God has set up is 100 percent true and that I have a deep understanding of it and it is sad other people don’t understand it. Like I noticed I have a real strong testimony of the plan of salvation. Also this day much later in the day we finally found a lady who is super interested and told us to come back again and we left a pamphlet and everything and she might be a future investigator of ours and then also we found another lady that invited us into her house and we sat down and taught the Restoration on the first contact. We talked to her outside her house she invited us in and we taught the Restoration and she was just a contact so she is interested too and she will probably be a future investigator too.

Wednesday, yesterday we played soccer in the morning and my companion sprained his ankle playing and now it is really hard for him to walk. And then our service was we cleaned all the windows at the church chapel and I liked that service cleaning windows is fun but it a little hard because they have huge metal bars on them like a jail. Then later that night we had meeting with the first counselor of the branch presidency and the mission leader and we talked about working with members and planning family nights and teaching and getting their help and about some of the new families in the ward and fellowshipping them and there is one new family just recently baptized. That afterwards we walk outside and they are all these guys like adults playing basketball and we joined in and I don’t know but I was really good and the other missionaries were surprised that I was actually good and the adult gangster ballers we were playing with thought I was good too. It was my first time playing basketball again and in Argentina and I was really good I guess I haven’t lost my touch. But I want to play volleyball in the future but I don’t know how we could possibly do that. I guess I will have to wait until winter when we can go to the beach and then we will play on the beach.

I think that is all for this week it has been good I like the weather here and I think these are starting to pick up with the work here we are starting to find people that are interested. Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the weird weather in PA.

Elder Frampton

2-11-16 (Week 2)

2-11-16 (Week 2)

This week was good.

Friday was a pretty normal day woke up went and worked in the morning visited a few people and then went to this one guys house Francisco and he gave us just some little bread and juice to have and we read a scripture and just talked - he is less active. Then went home studied and left in the afternoon and went to this family Ezekiel and just talked to the father. Then we played marbles with his son.

Saturday had breakfast went and visited an 88 year old guy we visit like every Saturday and he is doing well has recovered his health a bit and then we went to another lady’s house afterwards. This lady we contacted like last Sunday and taught the Restoration and then passed by this day to talk with her and teach Plan of Salvation but we only got like a quarter way through it and had to stop on the Fall of Adam and Eve. She had her daughter or a grandson or someone coming over so we left her with the pamphlet and told her to read the rest.

Then we left the house and the district leader called and said that transfer calls had arrived. He said Elder Riveros is going to stay and his companion will be another Paraguay, Elder Paredes. And then for myself I would be going to Zone Necochea and to the Guemes branch and my companion would be Elder Worth a missionary who was in the MTC the same time as me and we were on the plane ride over to Argentina so I already kind of remember and know him a little. So then we went back to the house had lunch and then I spent the rest of the day packing up my stuff. It was a pain to put all my stuff and try to fit them in the suitcase.

Sunday was normal church I bore my testimony and also gave a little goodbye that I would be heading to Guemes. Testimony meeting was good. Then after church I took a few pictures with the members I will have to send those next week. Then we went home and I had lunch then took my stuff to the terminal and got on a bus to Santa Rosa. We left General Pico at about 6 got to Santa Rosa at 8. I was and had been traveling with the district leader the other US elder because he got transferred to Mar del Plata. Then there the zone leaders met us there and also another missionary Elder Simpson who is going home this past transfer. And they told us our bus from Santa Rosa to Bahia Blanca doesn’t leave until 3:45 in the morning. So we sat at the terminal from 8 to almost 4 in the morning. And it was interesting we talked the whole time and then we bought these really delicious hamburgers they have at the terminal that had like everything on it, it was sooo good. Like egg peppers chimchurri lettuce tomato onion salsa picante I loved it. Then at the tvs at the terminal they had on one tv a random soccer game but on the other tv they had the super bowl playing so we watched a little of that. Then finally got on the bus to Bahia.

Monday this is when we got on the bus 3:45 in the morning. I slept the whole time and woke up when we got there at about 8 that morning. We got off the bus and entered the terminal and like tons of other missionaries were there in Bahia because that is like the central place everyone goes for transfers so all missionaries being transferred we were all in Bahia terminal. We got our tickets and the bus from Bahia to Necochea leaves at 10:30 at night. So we had to wait in the terminal from 8 that morning until 10:30 that night. Well first we went for lunch at 12 and went to this place called Bamboo it is a buffet and it was soo delicious. I had meat shrimp salad of lettuce and tomato fruits like peaches grapefruit, apples, lots of bananas,  fries onion rings that had so much stuff I then I had some cake and dessert and then went for ice cream and got lemon flavor ice cream. Then we left the restaurant and went back to the terminal and then sat down and talked and just enjoyed all the missionaries being there together. Then one by one each group left one group going to the Pampa left at 6 then people going to Olivarria at like 8 then others left in between then we got on our bus at 10:30 and then last the people who were going to Mar del Plata were still there when we left because their bus didn’t leave until 11:30. Also I met in the terminal seeing all the other missionaries an Elder O´Rourke from Philadelphia Pennsylvania he is in the Philadelphia stake we talked a lot because we are the only 2 people in the whole mission from PA.

Tuesday remember we got on our bus at 10:30 so then arrived in Necochea at 4 this morning in the morning. And got off and went to the apartment and we live with 4 other elders including the zone leaders. Elder Osorio from Utah and Elder Yeates from Washington State are the zone leaders then Elder Worth and I and then Elder Ortega from Uruguay and he is training a brand new missionary also from Uruguay. The six of us live together in this small little house with one bathroom. I will have to take a picture. Then we worked like all the day.

Wednesday we went for service in the morning and filled in potholes in the road then planned for the week and worked the afternoon. And that is it for this week. I will have to talk more next week we both still don’t know the area and we are new to Necochea and just getting to know the people.
